A few years ago I was introduced to www.theanimalrescuesite.com . With an increase appreciation for the purpose of this site, I have found myself boasting about it on Facebook and Tweeting as often as possible. This organization is part of the Greater Good Network and besides "clicking" to give food (free for you to do) there are heartwarming stories about rescued animals.
When I need a birthday gift for someone, I watch the sales for the online store and shop for a very unique gift. Each item purchased feeds a shelter animal with a certain number of bowls. What a great way to be part of a greater good.
The items available for sale are quality items and free shipping is often offered. When shipping is not free, it is a mere $4.95 for the entire order.
Dealing with customer service is awesome. No other customer service outranks the congeniality of The Animal Rescue site.
You will also be given a chance to vote for a shelter in your area which, if they win enough votes, will be given a nice sum of money to help with the shelter's needs.
I know you have a love of animals or you wouldn't be reading this blog. Go ahead..support www.theanimalrescuesite.com and feel the satisfaction of helping our little rescued friends.animal rescue
P.S. Sylvester was rescued. He was a stray that I had fixed and Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach, Missouri did the surgery and gave him his first shots. I am allergic to him (and a bunch of other stuff); however the allergy shots do the trick. He is my little boy!
